Sometimes the simplest dates are the best kind.

We hadn’t really made plans for our Thursday Night Date this week and when I called Stew on my lunch break from work the first place he suggested was the Flatbread Company in Amesbury, MA. We hadn’t been there in a while and it was such beautiful weather for walking around that area that I was instantly sold.

Sometimes the simplest outfits are the best kind.

I put together some of my absolute comfort favorites for this outfit and it seemed to fit with the theme of the day perfectly.

I ended up working late so it was a bit chilly to sit outside, but inside was cozy with the open wood fire oven and a nice glass of wine. Our dinner menu included: salad with goat cheese, two kinds of flatbread, and of course, a warm brownie sundae. 

It was the perfect atmosphere for decompressing and catching up on each other’s days. It was exactly what we needed after how hectic life has been lately.
